The Salvation Army Sends Cleaning Kits to Flooded Southeastern Minnesota
Mobile Feeding Kitchens, Volunteers Remain on Stand-by

June 9, 2008 –The Salvation Army is providing 200 cleaning kits to those affected by flooding due to recent heavy rains in southeastern Minnesota. Cleaning kits will be available at the Preston fire station in Fillmore County, Minn.

Two mobile feeding kitchens (canteens) and volunteers are on stand-by, ready to be deployed to serve meals in the affected areas. The Salvation Army is working with local officials and stands ready to offer additional aid as needed.
